IoT, make things connected
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technological concept that connects everyday physical objects—such as appliances, vehicles, machines, and devices—to the internet, enabling them to collect, exchange, and act on data without direct human involvement. These objects are embedded with sensors, software, and communication tools that allow them to monitor their environment, transmit information, and sometimes respond automatically.
,For example, a smart thermostat used by a logistics and transportation company that ships packages across the country needs to monitor the location and condition (e.g., temperature, humidity) of high-value shipments in real time to reduce losses and improve delivery accuracy, while a connected vehicle can report maintenance needs or optimize routes using GPS data.
,“By creating a seamless network between the physical and digital worlds, IoT improves efficiency, enhances decision-making, and opens new possibilities across industries such as healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, and smart cities. As IoT continues to evolve, it is playing a transformative role in making systems more intelligent, responsive, and automated.”
Tracking
IoT tracking uses internet-connected devices to monitor and track the location, status, or movement of objects or people in real time. These devices collect data using sensors and send it to the cloud, where it can be accessed through apps or software. IoT tracking is useful in many areas, such as transportation, healthcare, and logistics, helping improve efficiency, safety, and decision-making.

Smart City

A smart city uses technology and data to improve the quality of life for its residents. It connects systems like traffic lights, public transport, energy, and waste management through the internet to make services more efficient. Smart cities aim to reduce pollution, save energy, and make daily life easier and safer for people.
